Mine isn't even showing tracking information when looked up with reference number... Just getting a "NOT FOUND" response... So I have no idea where mine is.

I kept on thinking it was the actual cell number associated with the phone. Just tried it with billing phone and sure enough there it is! Thanks!
I keep trying with bill to number, cell number, other numbers, order number. No luck at UPS or FEDEX, ordered around 7am on Friday. Still trying.
There's absolutely no reason for them to do that. They have promised delivery by 9/21 and so far it appears that will happen. You'll be issued a tracking number when it's on its way to you. Given the situation, that's like saying that you deserve to know the distribution route of everything you order. Apple is technically still preparing to ship to you.
Well, I'd like to be able to print out my pre-sign for shipment notice. Since a tracking# exists, there should be no reason why I can't do that yet, but they don't make the link available on the order status page until it's shipped.
I know that I don't NEED to print it out today, I was just trying to be prepared.
I still don't show any tracking information. No matter what reference number I use I am getting a "NOT FOUND" message... No record of the shipment. They may be using a different reference number but why would they if they are using phone numbers for everyone else?

There is no delay. Why can't people get this through their heads? There is no problem/issue/worrisome situation/drama/doomsday delivery disaster. Apple said the phone goes public 9/21. Your phone will be in your hot little hands on 9/21. Where's the delay? Just because you want the phone earlier than its promised date doesn't mean there is a delay.
I don't know why people are so insanely impatient for this release. Come Sunday, it will be back to your regularly scheduled existence anyway. The phone will hold allure for a handful of hours and then it will be just like the 4S but faster and longer.
Lately this forum sounds like a puppy farm at feeding time.
Mine still says preparing for shipment but delivers 9/21?! I ordered it within 15 minutes of pre-orders. Guess we'll see.
I'm in the same boat. Preordered from Apple for a 16gb black and all I got is the Processing email from Apple. It does say delivery on 9/21 so I'll probably call them this afternoon for some updated info. Looking up my number on both the UPS and FedEx website gave me nothing either.

Well I finally got an email from apple with a tracking number which is the same info I already knew except it says import scan?
