It's beautiful

I'm thinking about buying one just to expose it in my bedroom

The original iPad and original iPhone remain my favorite designs of each. The iPhone 4/4s comes close behind.

I guess I'm just a sucker for raw aluminum.
 
The original iPhone and iPad are beautiful. I have a fully functional iPhone 1 and will be getting an iPad 1 also. I have a Commodore 64 and a Mac SE. I like to collect stuff.
 
No doubt the iPad 1st gen is a beautiful design. I also find beauty in the designs that followed as well.
 
I always thought the first generation iPad was the nicest. It looks so friendly if that makes sense? Also the no rear facing camera and the smooth aluminium looks great.
 
I had a working Sears version of Atari 2600 that my parents ditched during a massive clean out. 🙁 Threw out my Pitfall, Asteroids and other cool games I still had.

When I first met my wife, she owned a TRS-80 Model IV Luggable. Thing weighed just over 20 pounds, but it was portable (like a sewing machine maybe)!

Still have my iPhone and iPad 1s though. 🙂
 
Still have my Amiga 500 and ZX Spectrum in the garage. Along with a Sega DreamCast, Sega GameGear, and various Palm devices.
 
mini has the best design but i'll always have a sweet spot for the original ipad design.. i think its sexy.
