The only thing I'm going to dislike is people coming up to me asking me what's going on (because they know I love the company and big updates are coming). What they don't know is that I hate reading about the keynote, I like to watch it! I want to be surprised and that element only happens when I can watch the keynote live and/or after the recording.

Should I tell people to shut up before they spill the news to me?

I am excited to hear about the number of iPhones and iPad's sold. Do you think there will be graphs about how many apps have been sold? Honestly, the hardware is cool and all but give me stats about how great the sales have been!

I'm sporting a partial just thinking about smartphone market share pie charts.

Well, I am just as excited (The 6 is gonna be my first iPhone) but I have school...luckily my lunch break will be straight after the keynote, so not that much of a wait :D. Maybe if I want to follow the announcements as they happen, I will keep the macrumors live feed open on my iPod touch, and try to keep it hidden from my "phone" strict teacher

Yeah, call in sick. I'm sure your co-workers can be as productive without you. :D

bringing my computer to my lecture and sitting in the back and watch the keynote. It starts in my last 20 minutes so hopefully i won't miss too much. :D

Ditto

I'm in the same boat. I'm just glad Destiny comes out at midnight!! I will be picking up my copy tonight. And play until I get tired, and wake up at 9 for this event ! So stocked :D

I feel anxious and a bit nervous, personally I don't think I be able to sleep tonight. Who else feels like me?

May be time to see a therapist. If you're feeling these emotions over a phone event, I would seriously seek professional help. I've felt these emotions too, but I've been shot at and seen people killed in front of me.

Pft, I'm skipping class to watch the keynote. Don't worry. Do what you feel is right. The lecture I'll miss tomorrow isn't going to be on anything I can't easily absorb on my own time and the corresponding lab won't be due until midnight. All I'll have to do is watch the keynote and then write a program (it's a computer science class) and turn it in by midnight. Gonna be a great day.

I feel the same way.

I have the day off tomorrow.

I knew my excitement was at the low end of the range but after reading this I think my excitement level doesn't even register on the scale.

I suppose everyone gets excited about something and this is your thing. I have missed work for vacations and concerts but never for a product. However, if this is what is important to you and you planned ahead then miss work and enjoy it.

I didn't realize people were that into this I find it kind of pathetic to miss work and lose sleep over announcements of apple products...you job must be a joke i take it
