well its been a year and the infamous lighting cable horror stories I'm now a victim. My cable has fallen apart and surely this could of been prevented if i had a longer cable. i was wondering if anyone has used this cable. it seems like a decent price. Also is this cable Apple certified? i hope so if not i will not be purchasing.

I have the 3 feet version of the amazon basics and it works fine for me. No errors or anything like that. I have a 5s on ios 7.0.3

Ive got one, great cable and covered under amazons warranty so if something does happen your covered

I was just going to say that.
OP contact Amazon and ask for a replacement.
I have his cable too. Been working perfectly since... at least 6 months.
