Amazon changes notification emails

When and why did Amazon change from being specific to being vague in their emails? When Amazon used to send email updates, they used to state exactly what was ordered. Now they just state product categories.

Looks like it started on July 17.

Definitely a change for the worse.

I use the app Parcel for tracking Amazon orders, and thankfully that still shows a true product description.
