I like Apple stuff but this item is just to expensive I went out and bought the Beats Studio pro for $100’s less and it has similar specs and works well with my iPhone!

The Beats Studios are severely underrated because they're Beats. Excellent cans for casual use.

I bought my AirPods Max in 2021. I’ve enjoyed them even though they didn’t get a lot of use, but they’ve just succumbed to the three amber lights of death. Apple wants $300 to repair them. I won’t be getting them repaired, nor will I be buying replacements.

I agree in terms of I’m not an audiophile type so beats sound great imo but I would recommend AirPods Pro Max because of the steel (?) frame and therefore stronger construction.

My Lightning APM broke for good recently. Tried to replace with Sony XM6 but I did not like them as much, partly because of the ecosystem. Returned those and bought Beats Studio Pro. Not as comfortable as the Sonys but work better with the Apple stuff. Too plastic-y but sound good.

That said, I’m going to buy a replacement APM at this price, even though it’s too much. I just love the product, and it’ll be nice to have two Apple-made headphones for the Apple TV.

This is a product where if you have a good tv, an Apple TV and kids, it becomes a life saver and worth every penny. It’s the sound strange, the quality, Transparently is second to none etc. Noise cancelling can still hold its own after all these years and the integration with the apple ecosystem . Even if you don’t like the max, and your budget allows it, go get some good headphones for yourself and listen to your favorite song to have a moment to escape from the long day and mentally recharge yourself.

I agree they may not be the best in terms of quality and they are expensive but if you are in the Apple ecosystem and are looking for a pair of headphones you can swallow the price and just get them.
