I just received my pre-ordered Amazon Echo Buds (2nd Gen) which are designed to compete with AirPods Pro. They have the same type of ear tip as the AirProds Pro with ANC and passthrough technology. I'm coming from the regular AirPods and I thought this would be worth a try (with the understanding I could return them if unsatisfied) to at least gauge what I might be able to expect from AirPods Pro style buds to help me decide if I may want those.

I am WHOLLY unsatisfied with the Echo Buds. I am quite underwhelmed with the ANC and passthrough functions, but most importantly they are not at all comfortable in my ears! It is very difficult to get them into place, I'm always fidgeting with them to make sure they're not coming loose, and they straight up start to hurt my ears after a bit. I've been making an effort to use them these past few days to get adjusted to them, but they are just a frustration to use and I am dying to just grab my AirPods. And this doesn't even take into account the fact that they can't seamlessly sync across all my iCloud devices or the fact that I'm not super thrilled with the controls/tap recognition.

Has anyone here tried both Echo Buds and AirPods Pro? How do they compare? Mainly curious regarding ear comfort and ANC technology.

Hey, I only bought the AirPods, but still tried different earbuds. It's unfortunately true that the AirPods have no competition on the market right now. The convenience of the day and the quick connection to all other devices is just killer. It's pretty easy to connect everything together without any problems.
I can say about other products that they feel different in the ear by a long time. Don't have special ears or anything, but pretty normal ones:D
love greetings
