Amazon is closing out July with new best-ever prices across the entire M4 MacBook Air lineup, with discounts that beat Prime Day prices by about $50. In total, you'll find $200 off every M4 MacBook Air notebook right now on Amazon, with both 13-inch and 15-inch models on sale.

Starting with the 13-inch models, Amazon has $200 off all three configurations of this notebook. Prices start at $799.00 for the 256GB model, then raise to $999.00 for the 16GB/512GB model and $1,199.00 for the 24GB/512GB model. Every deal represents a new all-time low price on the M4 MacBook Air.

Moving to the larger display models, Amazon has both 512GB versions of the 15-inch M4 MacBook Air on sale this week, as well as the 256GB model. The 16GB/512GB model is available for $1,199.00 and the 24GB/512GB model is on sale for $1,399.00. Across the board, these are all record low prices on the 15-inch M4 MacBook Air.

I'm compiling something on my M1 MacBook Pro now wondering what in the world I'd ever do without fans. The MacBook Air, from that perspective, is ironically named.

Also, the authors of this piece don't seem to understand the difference between "raise" and "rise" in the English language. Apple or Amazon might raise prices, but prices themselves rise intransitively.

I am hoping the a18 comes out for the Christmas season then I can use my 10% discount and stack it with my 15% Christmas discount. If they sell it at Walmart.

I hope it's a 12inch screen, I would absolutely buy something that portable that can actually be used on the go. I travel a LOT, I'd happily ditch my 14" MBP for something weighs about half that.
Yeah, if the A18 MacBook is thinner, lighter and smaller than the current base MBA, it would still be a very desirable item. But, for anyone on a budget who is trying to get as much horsepower for their money as they can, the base M4 MBA is the way to go - right now. I have a 14-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro and it’s great. But I would still consider adding a thin and light A18 MBA to my Apple kit.

One usually never sees the best models on sale. The ones to tackle the heavy lifting. So those that need real power, get to pay the full price (at least until they are several years old on the used market place.....

M4 at $799 would be such a better deal than even $699 for the rumored A18 Pro MacBook.
And you'll want to add the Magic Keyboard to the iPad for $299. (FWIW, the new iPadOS has the keyboard taking up 3/4 of the screen. If that remains true in the release version, a physical keyboard becomes that much more desireable)

I purchased the M4 MacBook Air from Apple earlier this year and feel kind of ripped off, to be honest. Amazon has become a better place to buy Apple tech the past year or so, especially since you can just trade in your old devices for Apple for a gift card (it doesn't have to be associated with a purchase anymore)

You're comparing a sale price to a retail price, that doesn't make sense. If you wanted to be fair you would assume that Amazon will eventually put the A18 MacBook on sale for $499 at some point.

It makes sense if there are no sales on the A18 Pro model, or if they are not as frequent, or if the max sale price is $599 or $649.

Apple could surprise us, but I have a difficult time believing a $499 MacBook will exist, even if it’s a sale price.

Wish I could get a discount on a 15" macbook air with 32GB, not just 24GB.
