- Bigger screen at 120hz vs smaller 60hz
- Switch 2 capable of 4K docked, original switch 1080 docked
- Pretty sizable upgrade to the joy-cons. The original felt cheap, the 2's are a lot more sturdy and feel preium
- Performance is very noticeable over the original switch. Titles that struggled to maintain 60 fps are buttery smooth on the 2.
- Next gen exclusives like Star Fox 2 & Donkey Kong World, and Mario Kart World. This list will doubt expand.

The shorter battery life is a con.

Crazy to think I just read a separate article this morning on macrumors with claims the iPad mini is still using 60hz and Nintendo did it before Apple. It's 2026 Apple, get your ish together!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking at the price history, doesn't seem to be ever listed at the price in the article. At least on that link.

When the article first was posted, I clicked and saw the deal. I just recently bought a Switch 2 as a surprise gift and was going to see if Best Buy would price match it... by the time I clicked back when I was going to open a support request to them, it was gone lol.

Not even exaggerating when saying Apple is last to the table on many many things. A suitable AI, OLED, foldables, USB-C, etc etc etc. Heck took them 14 years or so to add a calculator to the iPad.

This has been how they operated, and when they do introduce features other brands had out for years they make it sound innovative and magical.

It's a cart-only discount, you had to go to the checkout screen to see it. It definitely was there when I attempted checkout yesterday.

I don't believe coupons or cart-only discounts are shown in the trackers. That's probably why coupons are so prevalent on Amazon.

Yeah, I agree with everything you said. Weird too cause all the Apple lovers will latch onto it like it is "innovative and magical", I get when Apple does drag their feet about SOME things, but a 120hz display....come on.
