Amazon has seemingly leaked the rumored next-generation Mac mini ahead of Apple's announcement this week, revealing several details.

Our concept of a smaller Mac mini

According to a comparison chart on Amazon's product listing for the new iMac, the new Mac mini will be available with M4 and M4 Pro chip options, with up to a 14-core CPU and up to a 20-core GPU. In addition, the chart indicates the new Mac mini can be configured with up to 64GB of RAM, which is double the current 32GB limit for unified memory. Storage capacities for the Mac mini will apparently continue to max out at 8TB, like the previous model.

The chart includes a very tiny image of the new Mac mini that seemingly confirms the computer will feature two front-facing USB-C ports, as previously rumored. It is possible these could be Thunderbolt 4 ports, but the chart does not specify. And is that a headphone jack on the front right? The image is a little too small and blurry to say for sure.

When shown side-by-side with the Mac Studio in the comparison chart, the new Mac mini also appears to be much smaller than the current model, as previously rumored. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said the computer would be closer in size to an Apple TV.

Here is the full comparison chart:

Unfortunately for Space Black fans, the chart shows the next Mac mini will apparently be available in Silver only, like the current model.

It is likely that the comparison chart graphic shown in Amazon's listing is provided by Apple, so the specifications are likely accurate.

Apple will likely announce the new Mac mini by Wednesday.

Update: Predictably, the comparison chart was removed from the Amazon listing minutes after we published, but it was likely authentic.

I'm strictly a MacBook guy nowadays so I'm not in the market for it. However the Mini was was my first Mac back in the day, so I always keep an eye on it. I'm looking forward to what tomorrow brings and hopefully it remains an affordable option.

14-core… so, 8p6e M4 Pro, I surmise.

64 GiB is also a much higher RAM ceiling than 36. Wonder what configs that translates to. 16, 32, 64? That would start lower than before. 24 (4x6), 48 (4x12), 64 (4x16)?

Wow. M4 rollout has been kinda sloppy haha
Understatement of the year. I don't think I've ever seen an Apple rollout this sloppy, and I've been an Apple fan for longer than I'd like to admit now...

They clearly planned to do a video event... I really don't know why they didn't just rip off the bandaid and let it rip in October, rather than... whatever the heck this is 😂

But... Looking at what we can see from the listed M4 Pro specs... I'm cautiously optimistic that it won't be (as) neutered compared to the anemic M3 Pro, and that MAYBE we can get >16GB of ram standard 🙏

They're supposed to be such an efficient company. They don't get in the spotlight often, but when they do it's meant to be perfect.
