Has anyone ordered new-released Apple hardware from Amazon and encountered their "pre-order" status? How long does it usually take for Amazon to receive & ship the product out to end consumers after an Apple launch?
Today I ordered the new 2.2GHz 15.4" MBP (taxless!) and I desperately want to play with my new purchase... 😀
Just thought to ask if anyone faced similar Amazon 'waiting' experiences during the early '11 release (or even prior.) This is my first time going through a reseller as opposed to the Apple store... sacrificing efficiency for cost. 🙁
Appreciate any feedback or guesstimates as to when Amazon gets the MBP's in their warehouse!
