So developers can't put apps on an Apple device that are considered direct competition? What about Spotify? It's on the Apple Watch, and on the iPhone. The Amazon music app is on the iPhone, yet that is direct competition. I don't get your logic here?
It would be up to Amazon to develop an AW app if they wanted to. If Apple said no, I'd see a huge lawsuit (especially now when Apple is under investigation for monopolistic behavior).
I would certainly welcome more AW music apps that work independent of the iPhone. AM and Spotify only ones?
