Maybe they're getting for the Amazon Fire Watch?

You know though, it wouldn’t surprise me if Amazon put out a smart watch in the future. Now that Google acquired Fitbit, the only real competition Apple has is probably Garmin, but Amazon can easily jump in on this game, but they’d be far behind in terms of catching up to Apple in terms of the overall health features and the simplistic parity with iOS.

Literally any amazon customer service rep can pull the “andon cord” If a customer called and complains they received a wrong product more than once which causes all listings to be pulled while it is investigated. Products “mysteriously” disappearing from amazon is not a good way too see if there is a impending product launch.
