Apple's AirPods Max 2 have hit $449.00 on Amazon this week, down from $549.00. This sale is available in all five colors and it's the best price we've seen on the headphones since June.

Considering the prices of the quite good competitors, there is no reason to purchase these at costs > $2/300 with the known (and still not fixed) structural defects these things carry. These prices are nuts.

These are nice, i have them in blue. They are too heavy to replace my Beats studio pros for exercise, but, way better for filling in for a headset to use on flights and when I go out. For sound quality at home though I have some Focal clear MGs. Hopefully Apple experiments with the higher end spectrum.

I love mine.
Super sturdy and made to last.
This will be an opportunity to pick up additional colors so I can use a different one for each day of the (business) week.

Unlike all other headphones on the market (especially those mentioned above) these seamlessly and effortlessly connect with Bluetooth for the iPhone and iPad.

Sadly, the case is not built to last. Strings popping out all over mine.

This hasn't happened since the last time (few weeks ago)!
and won't happen again until the next time (a few weeks from now)!!

I enjoy mine. People will whine about the price, simple answer, don't buy them.

I wonder if these are the same folks that will shell out 200-250 for AirPods Pro that poorly fit, have inferior sound, and are basically deposable tech. Last two pairs of AirPods I had barely lasted 18 months with serious battery loss. But I guess everyone's use case is different.

I had a pair and they hurt my head after like 6 months because the mesh wore down quickly. All that’s left is the hard wire headband and it digs into your scalp. Sold. Love my AirPods 4th gen with ANC.

It do be different for everybody, I have the APP2 since release day, no problems to this day, use them 6 times a week for training, and running. Haven’t had any issues whatsoever.

A month ago or so upgraded to Foam Masters for a better fit in the gym but I didn’t even need that.

Again, we've got to go with the shape/size of your head being the culprite and not the headphones themselves. Consumers with average size medium heads have no issues or problems.

I prefer the sound quality from the AirPods Max 1.5 Type C variant however they have been on sale in the UK for ages.
