Apps Amazon Prime Video is buggy with ios13

I am using an apple tv 4th gen (non 4k). If I open the app, then hit the home button to go back to the main screen, then open the app again it crashes. It does this every single time. Then I hit the app again and it reloads. I remember a time when it didn't reload ALL the time. Is this because of ios 13 or because I have the non 4k version?

I already tried uninstalling and installing the amazon app.

Prime Video got buggy long before tvOS 13, in one of the last Prime updates. I was hoping that tvOS 13 would fix it, thinking Prime released an update for 13 too soon and it wan't working with 12. Although I was running Betas of 13.

It’s clear this is not a priority for Amazon. They rather sell Fire devices.

Amazon must have updated the app. This has been fixed. It doesn't reload anymore.
