Amazon Prime Video on TV third gen?

Any word on if those of us still using a third gen Apple TV get Amazon Prime Video?
 
Haven't checked it personally yet, but there's other posts on this forum where people are saying it is there.
 
Yep. It just appeared for me a bit ago.

Many people didn't think that Amazon Prime would of be added to the older ATVs.

Oh great. And to think that I just purchased a firetv stick (black Friday discounts). At least I got a "free" movie out of it.

I was one of the ones that thought it would be, but it seemed most people thought "all Apple TVs" meant the existing ATV4, and the rumored ATV5.

Well, it most likely is not on the first gen ATV, so the statement is still inaccurate.

I wonder if it is on the ATV2, my kids use one, I will check it out when I get home.

It’s there. Strangely my library of purchased films is empty though. I’m hoping it’s temporary whilst the roll out occurs.
