For what it’s worth I can’t speak for the refurbished watches but I have bought a refurbished iPhone for my Mum and it’s been great so far. It comes with a one year refund policy so that gives me peace of mind. If the watches have the same policy it might be fine. The phone was in like new condition although I don’t know if the watches are the same.

Did you buy from Apple or an online retailer? I know Apple refurbished are almost like new. Not sure about ones from Amazon, so that is why I asked the question.
Apple refurbished are essentially like new, with same warranty and return period. They are either excess new stock, or mostly watches returned within 14 days, I believe.
Amazon "renewed" are used watches. Not the same thing at all.

Interesting! I wonder if Amazon rules are different in the EU vs US where I am. I notice that it says refund or replacement IF the product does not work as intended. I was thinking of refund for any reason which if you buy from Apple, I think it is up to 14-days that you can ask for a refund for any reason as long as the product wasn't damaged by you, etc.
