Rant it in their face, and never leave it.

They'll eventually go ape and refund your money, say it went wrong and shove it in their face again until they "refund" it again.

The better claim would be "Amazon has never shipped me faulty electronics"

Do you expect Amazon to unpack and personally test every piece of merchandise they sell? Come on, be realistic. Failures occur in devices, thats why there are warranty periods and return policies. The problem here is that this return fell thru the cracks and didn't get processed properly. Thats all. I'm sure Amazon will resolve this expeditiously and fairly if you speak with them.

I got an email from Amazon.com's "Executive Customer Relations Group" today. Why? Because (believe it or not) of my complaint with the Better Business Bureau!

Amazon has immediately refunded my money, and said that they should've sent me an immediate replacement. They've also credited my account with a promotional gift certificate for the difference in price between the MacBook in the local store and Amazon's MacBook+rebate (about $200).

SO, to my amazment, the BBB actually worked!

That is great to hear :)

I'm glad it was resolved, but the way they handled it at first would still put a bad taste in my mouth....
