Amazon Sept 6th event

So any ideas what we can expect at Amazon's Sept 6th event? One obvious development has the seemingly no inventory on the US site of the Kindle Touch and Kindle Touch 3G.

Everyone is expecting the Kindle Fire Mk II and some speculation also of a kindle phone but anyone know why the Kindle Touch was withdrawn?

Expect more detailed iPhone leaks on this date lol. At this point, a full demo video would be in order.

There is no doubt in my mind that kindles are excellent gadgets for what they are. Clearly the Fire is trying to be something else and I expect amazon will at some point get it right but I think it's a couple of cycles away from really troubling Apple. On the cloud stuff though...that's another story

I think that new eink ereaders will be introduced. Probably with a built in light like the Nook Glowlight. I think the basic Fire will be improved to match the Nexus 7 and maybe a 10" Fire will be introduced as well. Can't wait!
