So Apple releases a sub-par tablet with display issues rather than fix it and then chimes about being green and climate change while these lack of interest devices become e-waste.

How about just put a better display and correct the display refresh module and stop being cheap with RAM and storage considering the price of these devices.

A wi-fi 128gb model would cost me about $440USD.

Usually around $435 to $445 with tax for the 128GB Wi-Fi model, unless you live in a state like Delaware, which then it would just be $399 since they have no state or local sales taxes.

Good price for those specially looking out to buy the mini as it is still costly for an iPad with a smaller screen.Also don't think the price will reduce any further anytime soon. Otherwise I would prefer going for the iPad Air.

I got the mini 7 besides my Pro and I just use it a lot more than the pro due to its form factor. It’s such a great entertainment device for reading, watching shows, playing games etc. I don’t even see the jelly scrolling.

So for 100 less it’s a great price.

Why not contact Best Buy and ask them to price match? They do it after purchase… and should give you a credit. Worth a phone call to save a few bucks.

EDIT 2: Nope, open box items do not qualify for price matching, but I have 15 days to return the item. I'm not sure if its worth the trouble, will think on it, have until the 24th.

That's why Swedes use to say, buy a MacBook and an iPhone during the trip to US and the ticket cost will be covered. Didn't know that difference is so high. To be true, savings kan cover almost 2 tickets!
