verizon iPhones are unlocked due to a law imposed by the FCC.. spoke with a verizon agent about it as I am an australian in the USA, who regularly visits home. I am able to put foreign sims in my verizon phones. (i think its upward of the 5 model) will be unlocked. they don't commonly talk about this because they want to keep you on verizon.

I know this, but that does not stop amazon from doing whatever they want.

I have a quote for $410 through icracked.com, and that is much higher than anyone else for the 6. (verizon model of course).

any unlocked phone 6 is a verizon iPhone 6

i wrote emails to isitworthmore and they aren't even aware of that fact

Send it in as unlocked, its unlocked.. take the verizon sim out and completely delete the device. You will get the right value (unlocked price)

are you sure? verizon will have it's own model number and everyone's trade value is based on the exact model numbers. for verizon the LTE is unlocked but the phone may not work outside of LTE coverage areas

Just had a rather unsatisfying experience with Amazon Trade-in. They were offering a top dollar of 215 for an iPhone 5S. Mine was not only pristine and like new, having been carried in a protective case, but it had the original box and extras along with unused and unwrapped cord and plug – I have plenty of those. They revised it down to "good" and gave me 182. "Good" is the condition I got last time with minor scratches on the back, etc. Problem is if you check off to "return" if you don't like the offer, by the time you get it back, offers are decidedly lower. You're at their mercy.
