Could happen. Or perhaps you'll just have to make an extra drive back down to the Amazon shop and get another unbruised apple, thereby wasting more time.

Ha. Ok man. I just find it entertaining that the concern you chose to share centers around what has to be maybe one of the most baseline concern for a fresh pickup concept: fresh product. :p

Carry on.

So basically it is exactly like Amazon Fresh works now except less convenient? I went to the grocery store the other day for the first time in months and forgotten how awful it is.

Yeah, I'm not sure I get it. My wife started using Amazon Fresh a few months ago and absolutely loves it. She orders 2-3 times a month and they deliver to our door for free. The service as a whole is $14.99 per month, but we easily save that in time, gas, and avoiding that unnecessary impulse buy.

Why would I pay for a service where I still have to drive and pick up the groceries?

10 years from now we'll be sending our cars without us in it to Amazon without a driver in the vehicle. No service charge, no need to leave your home, all done instantly.

This is kinda cool, yet very lazy. Plus, I like to actually go into the grocery to look at the produce and pick exactly what I need. You never know what these guys are gonna put in the bags. Maybe a bruised apple, or an older, less fresh one, etc. I think most people would rather pick out their own too. But I guess time will tell.

Yah, my first reaction was to think this makes people lazy, or promotes laziness, but life seems to be getting more stressful as our world becomes more complex, so this seems to be a way to strike back and get some balance. And as long as the retailer "makes it right" when there's dissatisfication, then all should be good, right?

Right, because I'd choose something incredibly minor to share instead? It's called logic. Lol.

Yep, I agree. I guess people just have to know what they're getting into (e.g. the produce will not always be up to "their" standards because they're not the ones picking it. But, they save on some time and possibly stress. It's a trade-off.
