Good discount on all the models. But might be better to wait and see if someone is planning to get an iPad Air. The M2 versions might get even higher discounts after the launch of the next version.
May isn’t that far off, if history repeats, but most buy what they need immediately at good discounts. ;)

Hey I just grabbed one of these Mini’s from Best Buy, thought it might be helpful to outline the steps on redeeming the offer, including a trade-in on your old iPad Mini.

1. Go to https://howl.link/ho4257i3vi5ui
2. Note that the color you want isn’t available at any Best Buy within your state.
3. Give up and pick another color. Add to cart, indicate your trade-in, and check out.
4. Check your order status a couple days later and see that it has been cancelled because they were unable to verify your information. Said information is not explained.
5. Erase your existing iPad, and truck across town to just buy one in person.
6. Go to the area sectioned off for Apple products, and stand around alone stupidly for about 20 minutes.
7. Go to “the door guy” and ask if anyone is around who could help you buy a new iPad. He will tap the microphone glommed onto his ear and request a sales associate.
8. Wait around for another 10-15 minutes.
9. Wander over to the “pickups” desk and ask if anyone there can sell you an iPad. They’ll say “yes” and ring it up.
10. Pull out your old iPad for a trade-in. They will cancel the transaction and tell you to go to customer service downstairs to swap your iPad for a gift card.
11. Go downstairs. Customer Service will tell you to go to “The Geek Squad.”
12. “The Geek Squad” will send you back to Customer Service.
13. Customer Service will take your iPad and give you a gift card worth $150.
14. Go back upstairs to the pickups desk and ask the new, different person for an iPad Mini.
15. They tap their ear thing and request an iPad from downstairs.
16. Wait around stupidly for another 20 minutes.
17. The iPad will show up. It will be the wrong one.
18 GOTO 17
19. Ask if you should just go downstairs and buy it there. They will say no, it should be coming up any minute.
20. The iPad will arrive. Pay for it and be on your merry way.

anyone’s guess how this company hasn't gone the way of Circuit City and Toys R Us by now.

I didn’t have to do all of that to do a trade in with Best Buy for my mini 7.

Costco has been running a sale for these same prices (at least most of the Ipad Pros i've looked at) ... but the sale ends today (at least that's what their site says).

Is it a pretty safe bet they will extend the sales? I don't really need a new iPad until May or so (i have a work issued one i will have to turn in when i retire in May). I for sure want one of the 13 inch Pro models.

Amazon, Best Buy and Costco have dropped the 'sale' prices on the Ipad Pros. Will be interesting to track when they come back.
