What about Lunesta? I thought that was supposed to be non-habit forming?
I've been having trouble staying asleep the last three weeks--can fall asleep just fine (sometimes more quickly than the hubby's liking). I've tried taking Valerian root and chamomile tea before bed to no avail. My doctor prescribed me anti-depressants, which I haven't picked up yet, but am on the verge of giving in and trying them. I'm just mad that it was the first thing she prescribed immediately after I told her I was having troubles staying asleep. Yeah, at this point I feel depressed, irritable, and only semi-cognizant, but for crying out loud, I've been sleep deprived for a very long time!! I don't feel that way if I've had sufficient sleep. Bah!
Anyway, the next step is getting a new bed--perhaps a Select Comfort. I would love a good eight hours of sleep instead of the measly 3-4 of continuous and 1-4 of restless the remainder of the night.
EDIT -- this is floriflee, btw... I forgot to log him out of his account before logging into mine before posting this. See?! Look what the lack of sleep has done to me!!
