Is there any software out there that will use the built in ambient light sensors to work like Panton's Huey Pro? My screen is already calibrated (in a dark room) so all it would have to do is compensate for the light conditions.
 
How good is the Huey anyway?

The device does seem a bit gimicky because there is no way to change brightness of my monitor apart through the OCD... and I really do not think it is possible to dynamically recolour a monitor based on the colour temperature of the light in your room just like that...
