Finally! I can at least get caught up on season 2 of FTWD since I'm not an overly huge fan of AirPlaying videos from my iOS devices to the ATV.

Reactions: i hate phones
just noticed AMC app has been released. No more having to AirPlay walking dead from my phone! :D

I downloaded the new AMC AppleTV app but Comcast Xfinity isn't on the list. So AMC has a native app but my credentials won't work so I have to continue to AirPlay from AMC.com or from my iPhone even though they have a native app. Bare minimum all logins should work from tvOS app to iOS app to AMC.com. What a crock of ****. My review was 1 star obviously.

I would do this first because it work
1.) go comcast.com sign in your account.
2.) go AMC.com pick any full episode show to watch then AMC will ask u choose provider
select comcast and let show play
3.) go apple tv AMC try sign in and should activate itself
Let's me know if work

I got this to work!

So far I've only watched bonus scenes from Talking Dead, but I've noticed this app doesn't adhere to tv very well. I mean you touch the touchpad and the cursor moves all over the place. You pause and there's no preview window. But I'm stoked to have it! Having Sundance shows is a nice bonus!

The AMC app does work even if you are a Comcast customer. You just need to be a valid cable customer, regardless of cable provider. Almost all apps that validate you are a cable customer use Adobe to validate who you are. This also includes other non Comcast apps including HGTV, Travel Channel and Food Network.

The URL to use to validate AMC access is:

https://api.auth.adobe.com/api/v1/a...=http://watch.amc.com/activate?device=appletv

Just replace the <ACTIVATION-CODE> in the URL above with the code that appears on screen. You will then be re-directed to Comcast and be prompted to login. After a successful login, you will receive an error in your browser. This is normal. The AMC app should now be activated. All my Apple TV activated first time.

The URL for HGTV can be found on a posting I made a few months ago.

Well AMC doesn't work anymore.
