Microsoft's only using Ryzen APUs for 15" Surface Laptop 3 and they're not great at all, really bad battery life compared to Intel's chips and much worse Wi-Fi performance. Most people would be better off buying the Intel version of Surface Laptop via the business store.
There's no reason for Apple to switch to Ryzen APUs for the Macbook, Ryzen mobility CPUs at this point is too power-hungry for Apple to compromise. Considering what Apple had to do just for 16" rMBP, they're not going to do it for Ryzen APUs that's even worse than Intel.
As for the codenames, it doesn't really mean anything; could just be the Navi GPUs.
The whole game could change if AMD releases Zen 2 or even Zen 3 for their mobility lineups but we won't know until CES 2020.
I rather Apple switch to ARM, not Ryzen, they're not worth it.
