Windows will by default force the dedicated graphics card. It is 100% sure it works, else you wouldn't have an image on screen.

This is not always the case. My friend bought a windows laptop with Intel graphics + 860m and it wasn't till a day later that he realized the system was not using the dGPU at all. I have not tried BootCamp on my 15in 2015 yet so I'm not sure if it may have this same issue or not.
