AMD Executive's Comments Lead to Speculation of Apple Adopting Fusion Platform

It'd be interesting to see Apple make the switch to AMD, it should make stuff cheaper. I hope the quality doesn't suffer though.

If you take a peak at Apples quarterlies they are concerned with maintain profit margins at the same price points or slightly lower price points.
The only way this is possible is for lower priced components.
Savings passed on to the consumer, I will believe it when I see it.

Nothing as amazing like those leaked slides from AMD. PC Impress has its own columnists as usual though.

If Intel and nVidia resolves their differences and nVidia goes back to making chipsets for Intel CPUs, that will probably put a damper into this rumor.
 
The way I see it I don't think we could lose by giving AMD a try, after all they are really good with what they do. I loved em in my Pc's and never had any complaints. Only problem I see is how would apple work this out with intel. Can't we just all get along? at least for the better of the consumer:D
