is there a way to find out my admin password?

i just reinstalled OSX and the password i thought i type in is not working😱

You can choose a new one by restarting from the installer DVD (or CD) and select Reset Password (or whatever it's called) from the top menu.

Edit: Just like it says in the support article provided by the much faster WildCowboy... 😱 😉
