I haven't even looked at anything else, but I imagine it would be a BlackBerry Storm or Palm Pre. My sister has a Bold, and I can't stand not using a touch screen on a mobile device now. It's basically like taking a mouse away on a desktop.
Another relative bought a Samsung Eternity. It seems to be very nice for a non-smart phone. I know Apple says it doesn't care about such a market, but an iPhone without a lot of the fancy bells and whistles would really cater to a huge portion of the cell phone market -- people who want a phone that just works. Both of my parents would use my iPhone if not for the data fee because of how simple it is to just make a call.
