Baseball is extremely boring if you:

Don't get a lot of the technical stuff about it and strategies

If you get it, it is the best sport in the world.

Baseball is for snoozers! Ranked 3rd on this list--not far behind #1. Let's just admit it Football is America's #1 sport.

I don't even know how American Football is played, so I have no interest in watching it. That said, it's still not as boring as Golf.

American Football - its like Rugby for whimps.

However, beyond the whimp sport, yea, Golf.. Yawn.

I voted NASCAR.

Odds are, that in every single event ever ever ever, that the cars will go in a circle, and all turn the same way. Every time. Forever.

And they'll do it for three hours.

My sport is hockey. I love football, and I enjoy soccer. But hockey is the best. Football has seriously slow periods. Soccer is a seriously slow period.

I can put up with baseball, but mostly because it gives me something to talk about with my dad.

I'm with Al Czervik on golf. It's a waste of real estate.

Here's how I picture the two players at each tee. They draw their little golfing sticks and then square off. First player to touch the other guy gets to hit the other guy's ball once.

Whereupon the second guy hits the first guy's balls.... game over!

whoever voted baseball - you're an **&%(# ! ok, jk. Baseball and Football, FTW !

St. Louis Rams & Los Angeles Dodgers bitcheeeesssss

The way the game is played, you wouldn't have players for long if they didn't wear all that padding.

Those pads let the players hit harder.

I've seen people playing Australian Rules football hit harder than the heifers in padding playing gridiron, and play for much longer. Gridiron is one of the few sports that makes an ahour long game take 3 1/2 hours or more. Footy (Aussie Rules) is at least 2 hours non-stop except for when the periods end, no padding, and plays 26 weeks out of the year (not including anything preseason)! They kick longer, run faster/harder, kick more often (run with the ball more than 10 meters without the ball touching the ground, you're penalized).. And did I mention no padding?

Pull up a match on youtube. You'll be impressed.

BL.

Pffft.

If you compare hardest hits highlights, which makes it seem like the impact between players of rugby, American football and various other similar games seem of the same level but the reality is far different. The speeds involved in NFL hits are, forgive me, in another league.

I watch golf most weekends. It makes for great relaxing television on lazy days at home.

On the other hand I can't stand watching baseball. It just tends to be men standing around scratching their balls and spitting for no good reason.

Women's basketball is fun to watch though, it's great to seem them trying. :p
