Amount of VZW iPhones at launch?

How many iPhones will ship nationwide for the initial launch? Is that information our there?

If i pre-order through verizon right when they're available, will i 100% get one?

Nobody knows exactly how many CDMA iPhones are in production right now. I'm sure that there are plenty because both Apple and Verizon know that a lot of people will want them.

If you pre-order, yes you're guaranteed one, but not on launch day.

I am pretty sure that anyone with that type of info would have to work high up inside of Apple and Verizon, and I am pretty sure they wouldn't be posting on this forum.

With every iPhone that has launched in the past, when you wait in line at either AT&T or Apple, they are not allowed to say how many they have in stock, you must wait in line and cross your fingers. If you don't have a reservation, it is generally first-come first-served.

I am sure the same will apply for this launch.
