I love travel by rail when time isn't an issue. The cost is ridiculous though. Traveling across the country by rail should be cheaper than flying, but instead it costs almost double.
We used to travel by train regularly because there were no flights for regular people. It was pleasant to see the scenery, although we were stopped on a very high trestle somewhere between Ohio and Virginia and my mum was not happy. That was back when Pennsylvania Railroad was still going.

Going from Philadelphia to NYC on Amtrak was decent.

As someone who's taken the Auto-Train many times, I would really like to be able to tell in advance when it's going to be late. It's mostly been on time but, given certain eccentricities of the route, when it's late, it can be REALLY late and I'd like to know that earlier rather than later.

This site is so focused on the US it's unreal. It's one thing telling us daily all the Amazon price deals that are only available in the US, but it's another when you're telling us how a US specific transport App has been updated. I mean really? did you tell us that Transport for London's Go App had been updated to show your Journey history, travel spending and Oyster card balance? No, because most people wouldn't really care because it's not an Apple rumour.

Yeah, it's shocking that a U.S. based site with U.S. based staff talking about a U.S. based company with a strong U.S. presence would be so focused on the U.S. market.

If it bothers you so much, perhaps you should be focusing on participating on a co.uk Apple rumor forum instead.

It's a site about Apple products. Apple products are sold worldwide, not just in the US. The site being US based has nothing to do with it. If it was UK based I would not expect them to have an article about a 3rd party UK train company app being updated. It is odd.

Yes, but this is a U.S. site about Apple products. If you are so bothered by a U.S. site focusing on U.S. related news/content, perhaps you would be happier using a UK site on Apple products instead. MR obviously does cover Apple news/content about other countries as well but given that it is a U.S. based site, I just don't think it is "unreal" (as you put it) that it is so focused on the U.S. market.

You will take this single app icon image and you will be happy.

Edit: I fully agree. A comparison, if available would be nice as well.

While I’m here… the omission of such info in changelogs is accelerating my metamorphosis into a grumpy old man.

Does it support Apple Wallet for tickets? Or is it as lame as NJ transit?
We’ve had support for Apple wallet for a long time. 👍
