An article about dual channel I cannot find

I've already tried googling and searching but my efforts were vain.
I've got a White 24" iMac 2 GB RAM I'd like to upgrade to 3 GB RAM consisting in the maximum it can handle.
I'm quite certain that in a post some while ago MacRumors mentioned the performace difference between dual-channel and non-dual-channel linking a primate labs or some alike website.

Could anybody find me that link, a similar link or possibly some suggestion on whether upgrading to 3GB RAM or not?

I think it will probably give you better performance as you don't have integrated graphics in your iMac.
