Normally i have docked on my bedside, but there have been times when i've been reading a book, tweeting or even on here and i've fallen asleep with it.

Also dropped it on my face a couple of times, gotta say, that hurts!

To the people that don't understand how this happens. How it is happens is if you are laying on your back and you have your iPhone up like your holding a baby. It slips out of your hands and descends onto your face with a discerning thud.

LOL @ my explanation.

But anyways yeah it really does hurt lol I find it funny to witness someone with this similar situation.

I do. I run SlingPlayer Mobile in audio-only mode and place my iPhone under the edge of my pillow. It helps me sleep.

I hope it's on the pill. :D And don't cheat with your alarm clock...

sry. As you were.

recently, yes...I've been sleeping in a harder bed in hopes of making my back feel better. Its away from my old way of playing music as I feel asleep(AppleTV), so iPhone w/ headphones works for me!

Personally I can't say I sleep with my iphone as I don't have one yet but I do sleep with my sidekick 2008 along with wallet and ipod touch lol im just overprotective of my stuff

I don't think it's weird at all actually. Let me tell you what I do lol... I'm in a long term long distance relationship, and me and my boyfriend are on the phone basically every night just a hair past 7pm and then we go to sleep together, on the phone, all night long. So my phone sits on my nightstand when I go to bed with the line still active. :) I'm sure AT&T loves me. I get FULL use of the night&weekend minutes that's for sure. :p

same!

Me too. I sleep with it under the pillow so that I hear it more than my wife.

Sure Do!

Well, actually, I only kinda do. I have the charger plugged in next to my bed, and it stays there permanently, so I have the phone next to me on my nightstand every night. I usually play a few games of Solitaire before I go to sleep, or do a bit of writing or reading. :D

Nope.

Both phones go under my bed so I don't step on one if I get up in the middle of the night. I usually turn both to vibrate so I can sleep through pages or emails.

But when I'm on call, I put a chair next to my bed with the work phone aimed (for lack of a better term) at my head so that I have the best chance of hearing it go off when the local cable monopoly inevitably shuts half of my town off at 3AM and all of my customer's networks show up as down in our monitoring tools.

You ADMIT you put it on vibrate and place it under your bed? Really?!

There has to be a joke there somewhere....

My friend purposely fell asleep with his MacBook every night. Then he wet the bed after drinking heavily.

His MacBook is no more.

My bed doesn't have a shelf and the table is too far when that !@#$% alarm goes off. So, it's on the bed next to me. It doesn't get a pillow, though.

That's just pathetic, sweet, and sad - all at the same time.

I love my iPhone very much. It usually sleeps on my nightstand though... sometimes it gets cold though, and so I'll let it cuddle up with me.
