Yes I'm slow - others probably saw this a while ago. Congrats Android users. Just bear with me ok...

I always saw myself embracing wireless charging, albeit in the near future, as it seems too expensive & non-standard in the IOS world as far as fast wireless charging goes.

Anyway, I only saw its convenience in the car or beside the bed, but today, using my cordless kettle, I now see how it can seamlessly integrate itself into our day to day lives...For years I've taken for granted the convenience of being able to pick up the kettle from its hot plate without the need to plug/unplug a cable from it every time.

& that's the exact convenience wireless phone charging will bring, where you don't even think about it....you just plonk it down & pick it up as you please...

Not being funny, but I've been doing the exact same thing as your kettle there with my iPhone and official lightning dock for the past two years. Neither are wireless, yet neither need a cable to be plugged/unplugged every time.

Plugging your phone into a dock isn't the same as true wireless charging as nothing physical needs to go into your phone. You just drop it on the charger and forget about it.

It will really make a difference the first time you realize that the table or counter you are sitting at having coffee or waiting for your flight is charging your phone.
