Hello again! I've just bought a new macbook pro 13" without the touch bar and I'm searching for a good external screen to replace my current Apple thunderbolt display. Does anyone know which display I could buy in the limit of about 800 euros? Thanks for your suggestions!

Acer H277HU 27"
Philips B-line 25" (258B6QUEB)
Lenovo Thinkvision X1 27" and 4K but expensive
Or as al ready mentioned LG 27UD88

All of the above has USB-C connectivity, allowing both video and charging. Personally, I'm going for the Acer H277HU do to its price as well as design. However, I just missed a massive discount, so I'm holding off until the price is right.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm about to receive my macbook pro. At this moment, I'll be able to connect it to my Apple thunderbolt display and I'll test it to know if I finally buy a new display or wait a little. What are your thoughts about it?

Regarding the Apple Thunderbolt Display, up until now I think you would have needed some kind of workaround including various of adapters.. However, a quick Google search just showed be that a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C format) to Thunderbolt 2 has been released recently.

Then I see no problems why hour new Macbook Pro shouldn't work with your current Apple Thunderbolt Display ;) However, I still think you will need to have you USB-C charging cable plugged in to charge.
