An Idea

    I think so that we can't get the update for the touch before next christmas that everyone who keeps clicking the update button needs to take a break for like 30min and stop overloading the poor servers.

    Well the clicking would stop once we get the update, so if Apple is smart they will release the update ASAP or their whole iTunes Music Store might crash...

    *goes back to frantic clicking*

    If they got some brains for a second and stopped to think they would pull all pages with links to the download and remove it from the xml. This would give them the time to fix the servers without having all those millions of clicks

    No kidding. I know but there are links all over apple's site still which people are linking to.

    the one i know of, and most people were using was pulled

    No they haven't pulled them. I still have access to all of them.

    Mine doesn't show that at all! sorry for you. Also just fyi i am talking about the links from apple.com that link into the download from iTunes:rolleyes:

    Ha ha that's very possible. This is really driving me up a wall i'm so ready for them to release the dang thing already. I know they're having issues and all but still honestly there are hundreds of ways to put stuff back into a server even if tons of people are accessing it.;):D
