Am I the only one thinking it would be fun to get one and install one of those Aqua themes for XP or something on it? :3

Nope, I'm with you there. Even cooler though, would be setting up Fusion (or another emulator) and having the machine boot into Mac OS. :)

That would be awesome! I was thinking of hackintoshing it originally, but I remembered that this machine is probably wayyy too weak for any commercial version of the Mac OS that runs on Intel processors.

That 433 MHz Celeron doesn't even have SSE1 and I'm not aware of an SSE1/2 emulator. So no chance except for maybe emulating a newer CPU using QEMU but that will be slower than slow :p

Aye! Y'all have been reading my mind or what? Hell yeah! I'd even go as far as installing a lightweight (ancient) Linux distro on it and try to make a mock-up Aqua theme (not an 1:1 replica but something that is very approaching).

Or perhaps finding a dead unit (I wouldn't personally want to butcher a working unit) and retrofitting a Nuc or a Mac Mini inside while somehow keeping the CRT in it. It could potentially be done but...

Both of those would be awesome ideas! :D

Or maybe even try to stick Rhapsody for x86 or something similar on there...

I thought it would fall below minimum spec for Intel Tiger

Way below.

A great idea indeed. :)

I think that's the jackpot, if only because of how weird it would feel to use. Hopefully Rhapsody's Rage driver takes to the Rage XL as well.

That's what I thought about the spec xD

Now I actually want to get one and put Rhapsody on it :p
