Actually, a lot has been removed compared to Windows 7. Here's a list: http://xpwasmyidea.blogspot.com/2011/09/features-removed-in-windows-8.html

didn't know about a lot of that stuff. Good to know. Nothing that will effect the average user. And some of it is just ridiculous too...the start button is "gone"? Come on. It's still there. It just isn't visible, because everyone knows its there so it doesn't need to be taking up screen real estate. That seems to be what MS is going for with windows 8...get rid of anything that can be done intuitively, minimize UI elements

I would say a lot of this is akin to their Office suite. I am not sure on dates, EXACTLY, but let's take office 97 and compare it to 07. Everything is there (and more), but presented in a different way? Good or bad, I don't know. I am used to it now, but I do remember there was a decent learning curve there. It's interesting to me, though, that tasks as simple as printing are handled differently in the office suite than just about any other application for windows.

It's not good. I had the phone for a day, wanted to test it out. Readin websites is like night and day compared to the 4S. Videos look okay, though.

Sure was for me as well. I didn't have to wear my reading glasses to read the screen.
