An mac program that will tell me what profile level a h.264 file is (MKV)?

nothing for the mac? ok well what about for the pc? is mkvinfo the program that I should be using (dont have access to a pc right now otherwise I'd go find out).

You can use Mediainfo on the mac to do this. http://massanti.com/mediainfo/

H264info will work for PC.
