So my stupid work have replaced our iPhone SEs with Samsung A56s and the learning curve is steep 😂

One thing annoying me is all the apps are sending notifications that I have to swipe away. But for each app the option to disable notifications is greyed out!

With the pictured settings I am still getting notifications from this app!

Any ideas?

Not familiar with that specific device, but unless it is corporate managed, you should be able to go to Settings-->Notifications-->See All and have a screen like the one below. Then just toggle off the ones you don't want.

Ah, it IS corporate managed, but so was the iPhone before it and I could still control notifications!

Thanks though I’ll look for the screen like in your picture

I suggest you get a ticket raised. It looks like your sys-admins need to tweak some settings in the Azure MDM.

Ah I see, yes that sounds entirely plausible!
Its weird because when I go to the screen in HouseLannister's screenshot above I only see 2 apps....

UNLESS I tap the 3 dots and choose Show System Apps and then they all appear! Surely BBC News ain't a system app?!

And of course there is no toggle against any of them. I will drop a mail to IT now..!

Ugh. I assume since Google Play is managed, other apps from that store are also managed as soon as installed. Sideloading may be a workaround, but I would not recommend that if you are new to Android.

Also side-loading is not recommended on a company device as you might suddenly find that you don't work there anymore 😉
