To the threadstarter, do what I did and get a Nexus 7 tablet. I'm a diehard Apple fan but really felt the urge to try the latest Jellybean version of Android. The Nexus 7 is really cheap to buy and you don't have to sign a contract etc. So it's great way to try Android and you can always return it if you don't like it.
I've had my Nexus 7 for 5 days and so far I can say it is really cool. Jellybean is smooth and there is so much customization you can do. But when it comes down to it I still prefer iOS as I think it's more polished, the app store is better and iOS as a whole just seems more friendly.
I'll still keep the Nexus 7 though, that is until the new iPad mini comes out or next gen full size iPad is out next March/April.
