no normal person is going to think to press the Volume button, tap the middle screen, enter in a contact then hit open to get past it, lol

No need to enter a contact, just tap the volume to open an sms and youre done.

If some one just hits the volume button they may think to hit the open key.

On the other hand I agree that only someone with a jailbroken iPhone would know that so I still use android lock even though I know about the flaw.

Get iLock

Much more customizable, lots more options. Here's a screen of the "theme" of iLock that I put together, works perfectly on the iPhone 4 running 4.0.1.

I don't think so for now, that is a "Vanilla Rotary Lockscreen" for droid.. maybe with either ilock or androidlock someone can create it since at least ilock lets you create different user based ones...

I've been looking for something like this. I hope someone can create this. I'd buy it in a second.

hows the security with it? When you get a text message from say BiteSMS and you click to read, will iLock bring up the pattern or just log you in like AndroidLock?

I might change over....the dev doesn't seem interested in plugging that hole!

Is it possible to get a copy of the theme? I already have iLock and would like to try it out.

The security on it is 100% better than AndroidLock, if you get a text and click "open" on it, it won't get past the lock screen, you still need to enter it in order to get by it.

Sure.. see attached. Throw it in /Libarary/iLock/Plugins/. I basically made the background transparent so I can still see my LockInfo information, and reduced the size of the buttons/lines to keep it a minimalist style.

Can someone make an "invisible" ilock theme? As in I do not want to see dots on my home screen but I will know they are there, then I draw my pattern and it unlocks?

This is how I have androidlock xt set up and I will keep this until I can make ilock completely invisible on the lock screen. I know about the "tap" and "slide" to show the dots but thats not what I want.

You can edit the files in iLock so that instead of a silver button, it's a transparent button. Technically the button still exists, it's just not visible.

Thanks Astin!

No problem dude

Putting this in my plugins folder created a second "Pattern Lock" plugin under settings. When selected, my iPhone4 goes into safe mode. I was able to get it out of safe mode by deleting Custom.plugin and duplicating the official PatternLock.plugin and renaming it to Custom.plugin. Straight out deleting it gave me a blank Lockscreen with no way to get into the phone.

Astin, I like the theme, any suggestions as to why it isnt working?
