Android now easily installable on iPhone 2G/3G

    Why cant you do it on a 3gs, hardware issues? I would love to give android a spin bu i dont have $300 to blow on another phone LoL

    I think so. The guides say only 2G and 3G iPhone no 3Gs, and no Spirit.

    That might be due to the way Spirit Jailbreaks and runs (kicking in after the kernal boots) which allows the 3Gs to be jailbroken untethered. Hence why this wont work yet.

    Im sure someone is trying to figure that one out right now.

    has anybody had any luck getting android Activated on a carrier once installed! I haven't seen any yet that have. guess it be fun to play with the android system abet.

    opps Isee he got it on Rogers how about AT&T anybody have any luck?

    Has anyone tried it? I heard it will kill the battery in less than a hour?

    Yeh it kills the battery quick. How can I get the android marketplace on there? I have it running on my 4gb 1st gen iPhone but without the marketplace it isn't very fun to mess with.

    Too bad it's only 1.6 too.
