android phone and iCloud

Does anybody manage to get iCloud and android phone in sync? for calendars and contacts?
I know - android its not an apple product and I can use gmail..
but I have two iMacs and MBA and would like to use icloud.
Just happened I don't have iPhone but android phone
Any idea, hint? or it is simply not possible
