Android-Style Notification Bar: Is there an (Cydia) App For That?

One of the man things I hope Apple addresses with the 4.0 OS update, is to have less obtrusive notifications.
Does anyone know of any Cydia apps that could mimic the Android or WebOS notifications?

I'm not familiar with the android style but I had notifier installed which I removed for two reasons. One it halved my battery life and two it was useless to me. Others may find they like it though.
