So I've made the change and have ordered the iPhone 7 Plus 128GB. I've never had an iPhone before but I did have an ipad 3. How long will it take me to get used to iOS from Android? I know there is an app to transfer everything over. But just in terms of using iOS.

Doesn't take long if you can familiarize yourself with iOS beforehand. My wife had an 5C and while I was contemplating the switch, I had her phone more than she did!;)

I made the switch and absolutely loved the whole experience! I've since come back to the droid world which I do like. Only miss the app quality on iOS. In fact I enjoyed the upgrade experience at the Apple Store as their service is top notch.

I guess the difference now is I have an iPad so I still get the best of both worlds. I am contemplating using my 5c for a little bit now iOS has dropped. I'll no doubt keep switching back and forth until upgrade time so i can decide nearer the time for sure which side of the fence I'll drop into.

If you have an iPad 3 chances are you are running the current latest iOS version (9.3.5). If so, then you will feel at home with iOS 10 on your new iPhone 7. As mentioned above, I think around 1 hour of exploring will suffice. Enjoy! :D

On the other side I've checked out my buddies android phones and the UI's at a quick glance almost seem identical especially with the S7 line.

I always find secret new lil features from time to time and im an iPhone user since iPhone 3GS , Currently having iPhone 6S and you will really appreciate 3D touch when typing ! I think you will learn the basics of the OS in 3 days and keep finding lil features for the long run :)

While I hold a pessimistic belief for Apple after Steve, iOS today is still way better than Android imo. I don't know how long it would take you going from android to iOS, but my attempt trying to get an idea of how android works in the past has never succeeded for a couple of month, especially when it comes to how to manage privacy on android where I thought it's completely messed up.

Welcome on board.

An hour :)

And remember, before you even ask, you can go back since iOS 7 by swiping from left to right. No need to ask where the "go back" touch button is.

lol what? never knew about this o_O
will be handy when i get back to iOS

Holy crap. I consider myself a pretty advanced user, and I never new that!!! Thanks!!
No problem , Happy to help :) + you probably know this already but if you only swipe till the middle of the screen ( 3D Touch ) instead of all the way to the right you can open the App Switcher as well :)

That I knew. Just never bothered to swipe all the way!

Thanks again!
