animations not smooth in yosemite?

hey guys so i just got a new macbook pro 15 iris pro and i just installed and was wondering are the animations not smooth on yosemite beta?! (like its not butter smooth it lags a little). or they are suppose to be like that? sorry I'm new to

If Mavericks is anything to go by, the animations will remain laggy until 10.2 or 10.3. So yes, at this stage, expect laggy animations.

They've changed them throughout the DPs and most are now smooth. Still work to be done though.
